My rabbit loves it

My pet rabbit loves these tunnels. I have a bunch that I put together and she has a ball exploring them. Rabbits make tunnels in the wild so these are a lot of fun for them! I even cut a few holes in some cardboard boxes to make a small maze! Keep in mind I have a jersey wooley rabbit (about 4 1/2 lbs) so if you have a lop or another large rabbit they will probably be too small.More detail ...

MY PET RATS LOVE THIS WHEEL!

I operated a rattery in Michigan. This size and type of wheel is by far my furry little pet rat friends favorite wheel and I've tried them all. This wheel allows them to grab ahold of it with their feet and go flying up and over like a roller coaster while another buddy provides the motion. They are just like little kids they have a blast with this wheel! The mesh wire allows them to see through the wheel so they don't feel like they are looking through a brick wall. Urine and poopies pass through so they aren't walking in their own messes like with Wodent wheels. They are just as quiet as any wheel I've tried and they are a good value for your money plus they can't be chewed up like the plastic kinds can. Wheel review

These wheels start out "whisper silent" just as claimed but as time goes on the plastic axle wears down making the wheel loose. Loose wheels = LOTS OF NOISE! I have experimented with tons of wheels over the years and nothing tops the Wodent Wheel.More detail ...

a truely PERFECT hamster habitat

other websites may have negative reveiws. Do NOT let them disuade you. this cage is easy to put together and very escape proof: IF YOU FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS! I have tested out all of the components of this cage vigorously and have found it to be VERY well put together. The caps that block off some of the tunnel passages you don't use are VERY sturdy. I was actually able to pic the entire suite up by the cap carry it around and put it back on the table (do not try this at home). The only problem as has been said is that the water-bottle leaks but this is only if it wiggles around alot so make sure you secure it firmly. I also found that putting a tiny piece of paper near the hole makes the leaking stop while still allowing drinking but just to be safe I think you should use the feeding trough or another toy as a water basin.



The feeding area and wheel take up an AWFUL lot of space but they are very easy to remove and do not leave any naked areas where your hamster could chew to get out (I had a cage with a hole in it for the wheel and the hamster tore it apart)However if you buy two of these cages (they're big enough to comfortably house two hamsters each but you could REALLY spoil them by buying one cage for each and connecting them) this problem of space is easily avoided making one area the exercise and eating area and another area a play and rest area (you can easily fit two wooden houses in this habitat with the wheel/feeding area removed and still have room for toys).



It's hard to find attachments for this habitat online (other than the ones avaliable in this sweet suite set :P) but you should be able to find more tunnels and attachment areas at your local petsmart (they carry this cage but petco doesn't). I can't give a full reveiw without knowing the attachments but if worse comes to worse you can buy a BUNCH of dens (they attach very easily at any level and thanks to the special lock they stay in place.



The only downside is that the tunnels are halved (I find halved tunnels more annoying that the whole ones even though they're easier to clean) but the lock connectors keep them together very well (once again I could pick the entire suite up carry it around and put it back)



I do not however reccomend this as a travel cage since it's very large and the lock pieces can be a bit annoying but the habitrail brand offers some very nice small cages perfect for travel.More detail ...

Keeps them safely entertained

This is a great product ... especially fun to connect 2 sets together making a curvey course. I have a teddy bear and 2 robos that I'll put in their exercise balls and watch them take off! The tabs on a few of them were a little tricky to connect & disconnect - I ended up paring down the openings with a knife & now they snap together and come apart perfectly ... and no worries about them separating during use. It's addicting ... I'm thinking of adding a 3rd expansion!More detail ...

Great expansion kit!

This is a great expansion for any cage! It does not come with instructions but if you look at one of the pieces it has extra plastic rings in the middle of it put this in the hole you are adding the expansion on too take the J shaped piece and from inside the cage with a O ring on it snap them together (WARNING) it will be hard to get them back apart without taking the top of the cage off and alittle work. But the top of the lookout comes off and allows you to have even easier access to play with your pet. As bad as a pun as it is I really wanted to say play with your little critters LOL. Oh and if you try to put it on the side of the cage OFCOURSE you are going to have issues with keeping it upright. it does not really attach that way it is mean to the top or for adding into a more stable section of a expansion.More detail ...

Great Product

I use these for each of my male hamsters (they have seperate cages). I got them these when they were just babies so they grew up with it. They only use it for #1 and still go #2 in the cage but really that's where the smell is coming from. I don't actually scoop anything cause it doesn't work but I just dump the whole thing out and refill it. It's pretty sturdy and i haven't had any parts break. Start your animals off with this early and it's great for keeping the cages smell to a minimum.More detail ...
